Treasury Wine Estates wanted a cutting-edge digital solution for their “19 Crimes” brand activation events that would allow customers to personalize wine labels in real-time at live events across Southeast Asia. This interactive experience was designed to strengthen brand loyalty by providing customers with a memorable, hands-on encounter with the 19 Crimes brand.

The project had to be developed, tested, and launched within one month to align with event dates.
Minimise hosting costs and streamline the development process.
Ensure a seamless, app-free setup for on-demand printing without complex configurations.
Our team developed a dual-web-app solution: a Customer Microsite for user interaction and a Tablet Dashboard for secure, privacy-focused label printing.
A mobile-friendly microsite where customers could capture, share and edit photos directly on their devices. Each customer received a unique Print ID after completing their customization, allowing them to access their personalised label securely at the event’s printing counter.

An intuitive editing tool integrated into the microsite, allowing customers to capture, adjust, and fit their photos into brand-specific label frames. Editing options include cropping and rotating, helping ensure each label maintains a high-quality, brand-aligned aesthetic.

A tablet-based dashboard at the event’s printing counter, where staff can retrieve each label by entering the unique Print ID provided to customers. Once the label is printed, staff click "Done" to delete the customer’s data, ensuring no image or identifying information is retained, aligning with TWE’s commitment to privacy.

The Print ID system was designed with privacy in mind, ensuring that each customer can preview and print only their own label. Data is automatically deleted from the system once a label is printed, supporting TWE’s commitment to privacy and regulatory compliance for live events.

The custom wine label printing solution successfully launched within the one-month deadline, meeting all TWE’s privacy, budget, and performance requirements. The dual-app system delivered a high-impact, privacy-compliant experience at 19 Crimes events in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia, allowing TWE to engage customers in a unique, memorable way. The Print ID system provided secure access for each customer and ensured data deletion after use, supporting TWE’s commitment to privacy and customer satisfaction.
